So many roads I've traveled.
So many sights I've seen.
So many trails created
In places I have been.
So many oceans dared
Since I was in my prime.
So many mountains conquered,
Although bruised in the climb.
I wonder if right now
That I have reached old age,
I should just sit, enjoy the view,
And no more travels stage.
But then I'm what I've always been,
So challenge can't resist.
I'll keep on traveling new roads.
Indeed, I shall persist.
So many roads I'll travel.
So many sights I'll see.
So many trails I will create
In places I will be.
So many oceans I will dare
As I have since my prime.
So many mountains conquer,
Although bruised in the climb.
I know that even now
That I have reached old age,
I won't just sit, enjoy the view,
And no more travels stage.
For I am what I've always been,
So challenge can't resist.
I'll keep on traveling new roads.
Indeed, I shall persist.
